Taxonomy
Cnemidactis macroadambulacralatas was named by Blake and Guensburg (1993). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Museum of Comparative Zoology, Holotype MCZ 981. Its type locality is section 24, T15N R50E, Sprinkle locality HH-1, Horse Heaven Mountain, which is in a Llanvirn marine limestone in the Copenhagen Formation of Nevada.
