Adapoides troglodytes

Taxonomy
Adapoides troglodytes was named by Beard et al. (1994). Its type specimen is IVPP V11023, a mandible (right mandibular fragment preserving M2-3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shanghuang Quarry, fissure D, which is in an Eocene fissure fill limestone in China. It is the type species of Adapoides.
