Taxonomy

Leda ramsayi was named by Smith (1885) [DISTRIBUTION: Pliocene-Recent; Indo-Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Thestyleda ramsayi by Iredale (1929); it was recombined as Leda (Thestyleda) ramsayi by Hashimoto (1982); it was recombined as Nuculana (Thestyleda) ramsayi by Rosenberg et al. (2006).
