Taxonomy
Pecten albolineatus was named by Sowerby (1842) [DISTRIBUTION: Neogene-Recent; Indo-Pacific.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Chlamys albolineata by Hashimoto (1982); it was recombined as Chlamys (Mimachlamys) albolineata by Rosenberg et al. (2006); it was recombined as Mimachlamys albolineatus by Hendy (2007).
