It was assigned to Cassididae by Olsson (1931), Gardner (1947) and Kanno (1973); to Cassidae by Ladd (1982); to Moruminae by Hughes and Emerson (1987); to Harpidae by Wilson (1993) and Todd (2001); and to Neotaenioglossa by Sepkoski (2002).
