It was reranked as Fragum (Lunulicardia) by Cox et al. (1969), Lamprell and Whitehead (1992) and Lamprell and Healy (1998); it was reranked as Lunulicardium (Lunulicardia) by Kosnik (2002); it was misspelled as Luniulicardia by Sepkoski (2002) and Rosenberg et al. (2006).
