Pecten tanassevitschi was named by Khomenko (1934) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; North Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Chlamys tanassevitschi by Gladenkov (1999); it was recombined as Chlamys (Leochlamys) tanassevitschi by Kafanov et al. (2001).

Synonyms
  • Chlamys daishakaensis was named by Masuda and Sawada (1961) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene; Japan.]. It is not a trace fossil.

    It was recombined as Chlamys (Leochlamys) daishakaensis by Gladenkov and Sinelnikova (1984); it was synonymized subjectively with Chlamys (Leochlamys) tanassevitschi by Kafanov et al. (2001).
