Anisocorbula osawanoensis was named by Tsuda (1959) [DISTRIBUTION: Miocene; Japan.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Caryocorbula (Anisocorbula) osawanoensis by Masuda and Noda (1976).
