Pecten (Chlamys) hastatus albidus was named by Arnold (1906) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; North Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Chlamys (Chlamys) albidus by Devjatilova and Volobueva (1981); it was recombined as Chlamys albidus by Gladenkov and Sinelnikova (1990); it was recombined as Chlamys albida by Coan et al. (2000); it was recombined as Chlamys (Chlamys) albida by Kafanov et al. (2001).
