R. V. Kesling 1982Brittle-star of the order Stenurida with five short, rapidly tapering arms and extensive interbrachial sectors without thickened marginal plates. Laterals subventral, broad and extended, abutting instead of imbricating, separated from ambulacrals by sublateral plates, rather firmly associated with thin plating of interbrachial sector. Sublaterals with submedian ridge articulating with ridges of ambulacrals and laterals. Disk not clearly set off from interbrachial sectors or arms, its integument papillose but without large ossicles or spines. madreporite aboral. Mouth small; mouth-angle plates high but fairly short.
