Yoldia pilvoensis was named by Slodkewitsch (1938) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; North Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Megayoldia (Portlandella) pilvoensis by Kafanov et al. (2001).
