Lucina pusilla was named by Deshayes (1857) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; Western Europe.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Phacoides (Parvilucina) pusillus by Cossmann and Pissarro (1904); it was recombined as Parvilucina pusilla by Le Renard (1986).
