Tellina listeri was named by Röding (1798) [DISTRIBUTION: Plesitocene-Recent; Western Atlantic.]. It is extant.

It was recombined as Tellina (Tellinella) listeri by Woodring (1982).

  • Tellina mexicana was named by Petit (1841) [DISTRIBUTION: Plesitocene-Recent; Western Atlantic.]. It is extant.

    It was recombined as Tellinella mexicana by Woodring (1924); it was synonymized subjectively with Tellinella listeri by Hendy et al. (2008).
  • Tellina interrupta was named by Woodring (1815) [DISTRIBUTION: Pleistocene-Recent; Caribbean.]. It is extant.
