Taxonomy
Tellina lebecki was named by Anderson and Hanna (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Eastern Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 244, Live Oak Canyon, which is in an Eocene marginal marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.
It was recombined as Tellina (Phyllodina) lebecki by Moore (2003).
