Tellina tehachapi

Taxonomy
Tellina tehachapi was named by Anderson and Hanna (1925) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Eastern Pacific.]. Its type specimen is CAS 878, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 244, Live Oak Canyon, which is in an Eocene marginal marine sandstone/shale in the Tejon Formation of California.
