Chlamys cushmani

Taxonomy
Pecten cushmani was named by Kellum (1926) [DISTRIBUTION: Late Eocene; North Carolina.]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is USGS 10627 (T.J.. Faulkner Farm), Castle Hayne LS, Pitt County, N. Carolina), which is in a Bartonian marine wackestone/grainstone in the Castle Hayne Formation of North Carolina.

It was recombined as Chlamys cushmani by Palmer and Brann (1965).
