Taxonomy

Nucula mediavia was named by Harris (1896) [DISTRIBUTION: Paleocene; Gulf Coastal Plain.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Nucula (Nucula) mediavia by Palmer and Brann (1965).
