Gastropoda - Pseudozygopleuridae
It was Gamizyga (Plocezyga) by Hoare and Sturgeon (1980); it was reranked as Ploceozyga by Pan and Erwin (2002); it was reranked as Plocezyga by Knight et al. (1960), Hoare and Sturgeon (1980), Sepkoski (2002) and Wagner (2017).
It was assigned to Hemizyga by Knight (1930); to Pseudozygopleuridae by Hoare and Sturgeon (1980); to Gamizyga by Hoare and Sturgeon (1980); to Neotaenioglossa by Sepkoski (2002); and to Pseudozygopleurinae by Knight et al. (1960), Pan and Erwin (2002) and Wagner (2017).

|J. B. Knight 1930||Hemizygae with strong transverse costae that are confined to the
sides of the volution, and with fine revolving lirae on the sides and base. The columellar section shows a slightly arcuate columella, a sub-circular opening and a relatively thin outer wall with no localized thickening (Fig. 3, F). The pseudozygopleuroid nucleus has been observed in numerous specimens.
