Ostrea sellaeformis lisbonensis was named by Harris (1919) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Gulf Coast.]. It is not a trace fossil.
It was recombined as Ostrea (Cubitostrea) lisbonensis by Stenzel (1945); it was recombined as Cubitostrea lisbonensis by Stenzel (1949) and Palmer and Brann (1965).
