Caelobassus radwini

Taxonomy
Caelobassus radwini was named by Stilwell and Zinsmeister (1992) [DISTRIBUTION: Eocene; Seymour Island, Antarctica.]. Its type specimen is USNM 441711, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is La Meseta Fm Telm 2, which is in a Ypresian coastal sandstone/claystone in the La Meseta Formation of Antarctica. It is the type species of Caelobassus.
