Taxonomy
Loxonema (Rhabdostropha) grindrodii was named by Donald (1905). It is not extant. Its type locality is Knapp Land, Ledbury, which is in a Bringewood carbonate limestone in the Aymestry Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Loxonema (Rhabdostropha).

It was recombined as Rhabdostropha grindrodii by Wagner (1999) and Wagner (2017).
