Taxonomy
Cameroceras rowenaense was named by Frey (1995). Its type specimen is MU 266T, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Belk Island, which is in a Maysvillian shallow subtidal wackestone in the Leipers Limestone Formation of Kentucky.
