Taxonomy
Heidelbergeria czarnieckii was named by Krawczyński (2006). Its type specimen is ZPAL Ga−VI/29, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Kadzielnia, Set A, which is in a Frasnian slope limestone in the Kowala Formation of Poland.
