Gastropoda - Ficidae
If no rank is listed, the taxon is considered an unranked clade in modern classifications. Ranks may be repeated or presented in the wrong order because authors working on different parts of the classification may disagree about how to rank taxa.
|R. L. Squires and L. R. Saul 2003||Pseudogaleodea does not have the following characters that are present in Galeodea: a strongly twisted anterior canal, a columella with a large spread of callus whose free edge produces a false umbilicus, and an outer lip that is internally denticulate. These characters suggest that Pseudogaleodea is a ficid rather than a cassid.|
