Diagnosis
ReferenceDiagnosis
R. L. Squires and L. R. Saul 2003Pseudogaleodea does not have the following characters that are present in Galeodea: a strongly twisted anterior canal, a columella with a large spread of callus whose free edge produces a false umbilicus, and an outer lip that is internally denticulate. These characters suggest that Pseudogaleodea is a ficid rather than a cassid.
