Woosteroceras chepultepecense
Taxonomy
Woosteroceras chepultepecense was named by Unklesbay and Young (1956). Its type specimen is Univ. Mo. syntypes 12730, a shell (seven silicified internal molds of phragmacones), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Unklesbay and Young Locality 1, which is in a Gasconadian offshore limestone in Virginia.
