Decoroproetus brevifrons

Taxonomy
Forbesia brevifrons was named by Angelin (1854) [Forbesia? brevifrons]. Its type specimen is RM Ar 15245, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Ã…lleberg, Bestorp, which is in a Pirgu carbonate limestone in the Jonstorp Formation of Sweden.

It was recombined as Proetus brevifrons by Linnarsson (1869); it was recombined as Ogmocnemis brevifrons by Kielan (1960); it was recombined as Decoroproetus brevifrons by Owens (1973).
