Taxonomy
Strophomena luna was named by Angelin and Lindström (1880) [Lindström in Angelin & Lindström 1880]. It is not extant.

It was recombined as Aphanomena luna by Bergström (1968); it was recombined as Eostropheodonta luna by Cocks (2005).
