Taxonomy
Aspidura montserratensis was named by Calzada and Gutiérrez (1988). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Museu Geologic del Seminari Barcelona, MGSB 44791.

It was recombined as Aspiduriella montserratensis by Bolette (1998) and Radwanski (2002).
