Eoaraxoceras ruzhencevi
Taxonomy
Eoaraxoceras ruzhencevi was named by Spinosa et al. (1970). Its type specimen is SUI 32895, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Arroyo La Colorada, Bed 64, Cerro San Pedro, Las Delicias, which is in a Wuchiapingian deep-water mudstone in the La Colorada Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Eoaraxoceras.
