Rhabdocolpus was named by Cossmann (1906). It is not extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Procerithium by Guzhov (2004); it was reranked as Procerithium (Rhabdocolpus) by Ferrari (2012).

It was assigned to Neotaenioglossa by Sepkoski (2002); to Procerithium by Ferrari (2012); and to Procerithiidae by Ferrari (2015).

S. M. Ferrari 2015High- spired and flattened to slightly convex outline shell, with an horizontal to strong sloping subsutural ramp, opisthocyrt axial ribs on the teleoconch, forming nodes at the crossing point with spiral elements, and base with an adapical channel and lacking abapical notch.
