Coelostylina gibsoni
Taxonomy
Rissoa gibsoni was named by Brown (1839). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PB. 4564, a shell. Its type locality is Newtown, River Irk, Bed 8, which is in a Wuchiapingian shallow subtidal packstone in the United Kingdom.
It was synonymized subjectively with Coelostylina leighi by Pattison (1970); it was recombined as Coelostylina gibsoni by Dietz (1911) and Hollingworth and Barker (1991).
