Tricarina gadvanensis

Taxonomy
Tricarina gadvanensis was named by Feldmann et al. (2007). Its type specimen is CM 54197, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khuzestan Plain well core, which is in a Barremian/Aptian marine shale/limestone in the Gadvan Formation of Iran. It is the type species of Tricarina.
