Afraster scalariformis

Taxonomy
Afraster scalariformis was named by Blake et al. (1996). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Muséum National d'Histoire Naturelle, Paris, Holotype MNHN R 11573. Its type locality is Asteroidea, N'Golome Marl Fm, Pambala, which is in a Coniacian offshore marl in the N'Golome marl Formation of Angola. It is the type species of Afraster.
