Embolotherium andrewsi
Taxonomy
Embolotherium andrewsi was named by Osborn (1929). Its type specimen is Amer. Mus. 26001, a partial skull (cranium with maxillary rostrum wanting, dentition damaged), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Urtyn Obo "Middle White" or "Gray" Beds, which is in an Ulangochuian terrestrial siliciclastic in the Ulan Gocho Formation of China.
