Palasterina antiqua

Taxonomy
Asterias antiqua was named by Hisinger (1837). Its type specimen is Mineralogical Museum, Copenhagen, Holotype 306 and is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Lindstromaster antiqua by Gregory (1899) and Schöndorf (1910); it was recombined as Lindstromaster antiquus by Schuchert (1915); it was recombined as Palasterina antiqua by Spencer (1922), Owen (1965), Spencer and Wright (1966), Dean Shackleton (2005) and Lewis et al. (2007).
