Cnemidactis girvanensis
Taxonomy
Urasterella girvanensis was named by Schuchert (1914). Its type specimen is Holotype BMNH E52383 and is not a trace fossil. It is the type species of Cnemidactis.
It was recombined as Cnemidactis girvanensis by Spencer (1918), Owen (1965), Spencer and Wright (1966), Dean Shackleton (2005), Blake and Rozhnov (2007), Blake (2018) and Blake and Koniecki (2020).
