Bemella jacutica
Taxonomy
Helcionella jacutica was named by Rozanov and Missarzhevsky (1966) [Missarzhevsky in Rozanov and Missarzhevsky 1966]. Its type specimen is GIN 3470//52, a shell, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is M302/1-2, M42-a; Tiktirikteekh Creek/Rivulet, which is in a Tommotian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Pestrotsvet Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Bemella.
It was recombined as Securiconus jacuticus by Vasil’yeva (1998); it was recombined as Bemella jacutica by Rozanov et al. (1969), Barskova (1988), Brock and Cooper (1993), Elicki (1994), Elicki (1996), Kouchinsky et al. (2017) and Wagner (2023).
