Plesiocetopsis occidentalis

Plesiocetus occidentalis was named by Kellogg (1925) [No locality information is available for the type specimen of Plesiocetus occidentalis (Kellogg, 1925), although he suggests it is from the Tortonian Monterey Formation.]. Its type specimen is UCMP M1351, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Plesiocetopsis occidentalis by Hay (1930).
