Eocrex primus
Taxonomy
Eocrex primus was named by Wetmore (1931). Its type specimen is UNSM No. 12043, a limb element (distal end of right tibio-tarsus), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eocrex primus Type Locality, which is in a Wasatchian/Bridgerian lacustrine horizon in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.
