Phenacopithecus xueshii
Taxonomy
Phenacopithecus xueshii was named by Beard and Wang (2004). Its type specimen is IVPP V11998.4, a tooth (right [lower] P4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Nanbaotou, which is in a Sharamurunian floodplain siliciclastic in the Heti Formation of China. It is the type species of Phenacopithecus.
