Phenacopithecus krishtalkai
Taxonomy
Phenacopithecus krishtalkai was named by Beard and Wang (2004). Its type specimen is IVPP V11997, a maxilla (right maxilla fragment preserving P4-M2), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Heti Formation Locality 7, which is in a Sharamurunian floodplain siliciclastic in the Heti Formation of China.
