Trochus (Thalottia) subcarinatus demersa was named by Kranz (1910) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Paris Basin, Iran, Greece, Italy.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Jujubinus subcarinatus demersus by Harzhauser (2004).
