Taxonomy
Korora oliveri was named by Marples (1952). Its type specimen is OM C.50.63, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hakataramea Valley, which is in a Waitakian marine sandstone in the Kokoamu Greensand Formation of New Zealand.
