It was recombined as Potamides (Terebralia) bidentatus by Strausz (1966); it was recombined as Terebralia bidentata by Cossmann and Peyrot (1922), Vredenburg (1928), Iqbal (1980), Harzhauser (2002), Harzhauser (2004) and Harzhauser (2007).
