Fissuravis weigelti

Taxonomy
Fissuravis weigelti was named by Mayr (2007). Its type specimen is WAL 346.2007, a set of postcrania (left coracoid, lacking extremitas sternalis), and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Walbeck, which is in a Selandian fissure fill sandstone/mudstone in Germany. It is the type species of Fissuravis.
