Taxonomy
Haustator magnasperulus was named by Sacco (1895) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Mediterranean, Pakistan.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Turritella magnasperula by Vredenburg (1921) and Vredenburg (1928); it was recombined as Turritella (Peyrotia) magnasperula by Harzhauser (2004).
