Strombus (Dilatilabrum) roegli was named by Harzhauser (2001). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is AB/58 - Abadeh (Qom Fm), which is in a Rupelian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal marl in the Qom Formation of Iran.
