Cypraea (Zonaria) subexcisa inaequilabiata was named by Sacco (1894) [DISTRIBUTION: Oligocene; Mediterranean-Pakistan.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Zonaria (Cypraeacites) inaequilabiatus by Schilder (1932); it was recombined as Zonaria subexcisa inaequilabiata by Ferrero Mortara (1984); it was recombined as Proadusta inaequilabiata by Harzhauser (2004).
