It was recombined as Cassidaria beyrichi by Rovereto (1910); it was recombined as Sconsia (Sconsia) beyrichi by Baldi (1986); it was recombined as Sconsia beyrichi by Sacco (1891), Vredenburg (1925), Iqbal (1980), Harzhauser (2004) and Harzhauser et al. (2009).
